I have always loved Cami NYC but never truly understood the love…you can’t until you try one on and then BAM you want every color and style. The zillion wears I am going to wear this just makes me excited thinking about it!
Talk about creating new outfits with only one new piece. As you know this tank from Cami NYC is my favorite thing and I support anyone and everyone in buying it ASAP. Thinking the white one may be next but not until I start back up on my St.Tropez regimen haha. Speaking of, the differences in my skin color, weight, and makeup are LOL in all of these old cami NYC outfit posts.
These silver shoes are pretty ridiculously…AMAZING!
Zara for the win! I don’t have much to say besides this is another great way to wear your Cami NYC tank!
with a chunky knit and booties
with a navy skirt
I caved, well not really they are on mega sale and a fraction of the price of average ‘designer’ jeans, but yes I got a second pair of wide leg jeans. They are just so comfortable and much easier to wear in the heat than skinnies.
My handy Cami NYC tank that I am forever grateful i bought, the price tag is a little higher but I swear the cost per wear is cents at this point. I find it to be so flattering and can be worn year round!
It is raining all week here and it is making me sooo blah. That plus the fact I started rewatching Gossip Girl my couch time has increased! Like I go home, turn it on and do random things around the house during “what happend last episode” time haha.
This past weekend Virginia and I went downtown and I couldn’t decide what to wear and ended up in my Cami NYC, black jeans, denim jacket and booties….classic Emily! Have you ever felt that ‘going out’ outfits are ten times harder?! You want to feel confident but I have found that often times what I am confident in isn’t always what a random guy at a bar is going to be into! Not saying I dress for men because I really do dress for myself but every once in a while we dress for the strangers at a bar. spoiler: i talked to no guys that night ha.
This is not super relevant to this outfit but goes to classic you outfits and for me, boyfriend jeans, loafers a white shirt and denim jacket feel like my security blanket. These items are a mix of splurge and save. The denim are AG and are so darn comfy.Top from COS which is my #1 for basics they have great quality and good prices. Shoes stand by my rule of:
‘Trend don’t always need to be indulged with high price tags’
and are Nine West and have lasted me season after season. This jacket was such a random purchase, the day before I got it I purchased a faux leather jacket from Nordstrom that ‘all the bloggers had’ but I wasn’t obsessed with. I was at the mall and went into the Coach outlet where an employee was like ‘we just got this jacket in from the full line store and its $200’….tried it on and it was fate. The faux one for half that price went back to Nord the next day.
Aka wait out for a random deal before settling on something that you will wear all the time.
Things over here are a little crazy and I am feeling like throwing out some random content so..enjoy?

As I mentioned last week my dear friend (who used to show off her outfits here until she was over it haha) gave me this sweater and I am obsessed. It is on super sale right now and is worth the penny. The main reason I love it is because the length makes it not another basic semi frumpy open sweater. One of the reasons I love Nashville is because of how casual people dress…this outfit here was perfect for a semi nicer dinner out! Coming to Nashville soon? Check out my top restaurant guide!
