I am not sitting in my bed in these photos because it’s on theme with the blog post title…I do my nightly skincare routine in bed. I am that person and proud of it!
Makeup remover wipes, I go through serious phases with these, either I am a huge fan or hate them. Right now I am a fan but only of the Target brand ones. Random, I know but I have a theory. Months ago I was at Target and bought them because they are cheaper than the Neutrogena ones. There was no film or leftover residue after using them so I was pleased. Fast forward and I was at Kroger where of course my beloved Target wipes are not sold so I got the Neutrogena ones. This brand swap of makeup remover wipes was the only thing I changed in my nightly skincare and my skin freaked! Aka next time you are at Target I highly suggest picking these up!
Now I know I mentioned that I do all of this in bed, which is usually the case but if on the off chance I am normal human and not doing this in bed I will double cleanse. Don’t have a particular cleanser I will use, just whichever I am in the mood for but I rotate between Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem, Tata Harper (part of a Nord Anniversary Sale bundle), and Laura Mercier Flawless Skin. j
Sunday Riley Good Genes + Luna Night Oil. Some say you shouldn’t mix retinol (night oil) and lactic acid (good genes). I am with the latter camp and just listen to my skin, if it feeling extra sensitive that day I will just go with the oil and be a little gentler. Without fail, I wake up and my skin feels even toned and ready to take on the day!
