I had been wanting these earrings for over a year and finally pulled the trigger with this last Shopbop sale. They are SO light and the colors are so vibrant! This tee was another sale purchase- I wear my plain white Karla x Hanes tee all the time so it was a no brainer!

Ivory and Camel Trousers
While at Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago I came across these St.John trousers and knew I would fall in love with them, if they fit. I also knew that my mimi (grandma) would be smiling from the heavens in celebration of my first piece of St.John. Well they clearly fit and I am obsessed with the “don’t mess with me chic” vibes [I feel] they give off! Because my Mimi was the queen of a St.John sweater set the brand has a special place in my heart and the saying “wear them in good health” will never be more respected.
Paired with a sweater for work but I also wore them with a tucked in white crew neck tee and denim jacket for a Jenna Lyons look.
**Please excuse the shoes, I know they are a little too high

Midi Skirts Meet Linen
To continue to transitional outfit theme this one is one of my favorite outfits I have worn in a while! The skirt is super old Theory that I layered up last winter with a leather jacket and booties. But last week I was sick of my jeans and wanted to wear a skirt but needed one I could pair with a lightweight top at it is still not “cool” out.
This classic white linen shirt worked perfectly for a transitional outfit.

Transitional Black Mini Skirt
While “shopping my closet” I was tiring to play with pieces that are quintessential fall and make them late summer appropriate. This black mini skirt has been in and out of rotation for a few years now and is just as cute in the winter (seen here) as it is in early fall styled with a denim jacket and espadrilles.

Black and White Gingham Blazer
This black and white gingham blazer is my second blazer from Veronica Beard and I found both of them at Nordstrom Rack! I had always wanted a plaid timeless blazer and this fit the bill perfectly! The blazer came with me to Massachusetts earlier this Summer and was so cute with cutoffs and a flowy black tank. Transitioning into Fall (which I don’t have any business doing yet) I paired it with a tee shirt, denim and flats – this combo will be on high rotation through Fall. Then when winter comes around a cool all-black look is on docket!

The perfect little pink dress
I have been wanting a Rhode Resort Ella dress so over a year and when this one finally went on sale I knew it was time to pull the trigger! Nervous about how it would fit because I never wear mini dresses it turned out perfect – mainly because I love the balance of a shorter hem with long sleeves. Sundresses that can go from Summer to Fall are always great- lower cost per wear!
