Classic Wool Jacket
Moto Leather Jacket
As you can tell all of these coats are 1+ years old which just tells you how long a good jacket can last you! BUT you can also find amazing, nice looking jackets at lower price point retailers. I have a mix of deisnger and “cheap” jackets…now I have to confess the black Zara jacket does have a rip in the back hem 🙁 but it is still my favorite and I plan on getting it repaired this season. If you live somewhere that a puffer jacket is not needed your jackets can take you from Fall through Winter. It is all about layering anyways. I wear my leather jackets with everything from tank tops to turtlenecks.
When it comes to sweater coats or long cardigans, I suggest getting one that isn’t too cozy. Meaning not one that looks like you are wearing lounge wear with leather pants if you catch my drift. Find one that can be slightly dressed up and not make you look like a Free People model. Not that that isn’t a great look but not that universal haah.
I am in need of MAJOR inspiration around here. Hit with me your favorite sites, magazines whatever share with me please!
I am sitting here typing this while hanging out with my brother (he is a 20 year old BRO) and every time he says something ridiculous I happen to start typing something and he screams out….”jeeze emily who are you sending that too?!” Claiming I just always have to share funny moments with someone…. oye that is not good. I guess I often do that though, want to immediately share things with not the world per say but at least a friend or two….share the laugh right?
I mean that blouse be cuter!!!
This bag is waiting for me in Houston (I am currently in Dallas) in the nude color and I am so excited!
Nothing like a pale pink blush.
Ugh these earrings, I didn’t want to get on board but I just LOVE them!
Y’all this dress comes in so many colors and couldn’t be more basic yet perfect.
Spring is about to be here meaning white jeans are about to be taken out of the bottom of your closet…need a new pair?
I am going to go over a few pairs I have owned, tried on ect.
J.Crew Toothpick: Great price at $115. Not see through, have a decent amount of stretch to them. I wore these for a year or two and kind of treat them like my back up white jeans. Mainly because I don’t love the way they look but they are comfortable. The stretch is nice for days when you’re bloated and they fit more like a relaxed skinny than a true skinny. This post from last summer shows how they fit!
Current Elliott The Stiletto: These are the only ‘low rise’ jeans I own which is crazy since they are white but I love them. CE makes DENIM aka they rarely have stretch and feel sturdy when you wear them. They don’t bunch around weird places and keep good shape on my bum! One of my favorite outfits in them here.
Frame Super Distressed: this super distressed pair is so popular but I would only suggest them if you are slimmer….is that evil?! I am not trying to body shame or anything I just know from personal experience when I tried these on I did not like the way my thighs looked! My friends who have them look sooo cute but they have smaller thighs. Frame does a pair with distressing only on the knee which I think I would like better. I love my Frame dark skinnies so much and these are an almost identical cut they may be my next pair!
Mother Insider Crop: Something about Mother denim I just trust haha! It is a mixture of loving their branding/social media and the jeans I have from them. Their white jeans are so cute with a fun trendy hem that is perfect for summer!
